New Worcester Bosch Boiler in Leicester Home
In October, Kev approached Rudkin & Herbert through a staff member recommendation to upgrade his existing boiler ready for the upcoming winter. Our company representative visited the Leicester home to survey the property and to discuss their needs regarding the central heating.
A key requirement for Kev’s home was to upgrade their new boiler to a highly-efficient, reliable and durable boiler for his son: William. Unfortunately, William was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia this February which is a rare cancer of the blood and bone marrow that occurs when abnormal cells in his body begin to grow out of control. He is recently in remission after three years of treatment to help and cure the cancer.

As a result, we tailored the quotation to meet their needs at an honest price which led us to winning the boiler job. Here, we successfully installed a new Worcester Greenstar Compact range boiler within their kitchen area at Kev’s home. This also included new internet BoschEasy controls so that the family can independently and effortlessly control their heating through the Worcester app at anytime and anywhere with internet access.

Not only is William warm during this winter but Rudkin & Herbert have also donated £100.00 towards William’s JustGiving page to help care for William. The raised money will support and assist towards William’s care which includes regular trips to the hospital, essential clothing, and food for his special diet due to being neutropenic. This will provide the necessary warmth, comfort and necessities in the upcoming three years.
