How air source heat pumps work
Air source heat pumps extract energy from the air outside, even if it’s as cold as -15°C. Delivering heat throughout your home at a lower temperature over a longer time period, the heat from the outside air is absorbed into a fluid which is compelled into a heat exchanger in the heat pump. With a modified central heating system fitted in your Leicester or Leicestershire home by our Rudkin & Herbert technicians, you are then able to harness this air source heat.
High quality and efficient systems
There are two types of air source heat pumps that can collect renewable energy and convert it into fuel for your heating system: air to air heat pumps and air to water heat pumps.
At Rudkin & Herbert we offer a range of renewable energies and heating setups including solar heating and ground source heat pumps. All of these solutions help to limit your impact on the environment whilst saving you money. Find out more on the range of options available by clicking on the button below.
